A dream come true

It had been my dream to pursue my education abroad, not for the pride of it; I simply wanted to experience living abroad. I wanted to open my eyes to possibilities, see the world, meet new people, learn about other cultures… and I just love learning.

This is me 9 years ago, on my graduation day. I finished my master’s degree in the land of the Queen (now King). 🎓

When I decided to pursue my education abroad, most people around me couldn’t believe me, including my parents.

I came from a humble family and there’s no way I could make it on my own. I didn’t have the finances, and my savings definitely couldn’t make it. Also, I’m not a “scholarship” material? 🥲

I told them, I didn’t know how, but I knew in my heart that this was something that I had to do.

I followed my intuition.

I did everything I could to manifest my dream. I prayed, studied hard after work and on the weekend, went here and there for the admin stuff, and applied for student loan & scholarship schemes.. only to be ghosted and rejected.

It wasn’t easy, but I kept going..

Six months later, I got accepted at three different universities in the UK, and I got a full scholarship from the government of Indonesia. Am I dreaming?

In September 2013, I flew to the UK and started a new chapter in my life.

It was one of the best years of my life. I met the most wonderful people and I traveled to the most amazing places I could only dream of.

Believe me when I say, dreams do come true… ✨

My wish for you is that you have the most amazing journey in turning your dreams into reality. ❤️
