A question to reflect

Hello,

I just came back from a short trip to Hanoi – Vietnam where I attended Hanoi Autumn Swing Out dance event by Hanoi Swing Dance community. I had a blast! If you knew me, I love dancing so much. It makes me feel so happy and I learned so much about myself throughout the years.

Anyway..

Last night I had my weekly accountability call with my best friend coach Claudie. Toward the end of our call, we asked each other this powerful coaching question:

What are the three biggest reasons your life, business or impact isn’t yet where you want it to be?

We both froze, it took a while for both of us to reflect on this. It felt like there was this giant mirror right in front of me with my reflection staring back at me waiting for the big answer.

So here is mine..

1) Lack of courage

I realized that many of my decision is based on lack of courage. I knew deep down in my heart that I could do better if I had more confidence and courage. I realize this within me, and I’m working on myself to be better everyday. I want to be more courageous in all areas of my life.

2) Fear of rejection

Fear is part of human experience. I noticed I had so much fear of rejection especially in the beginning of building my business, which comes from personal life experiences. I learned that I would never get rid of my fear, but I can always move past it. I befriending my fear.

3) Personal finance

Though in general I have a good financial condition, I realized how much I lack of financial management. I wish that I were better in this in a way that I would invest more in growing my business. Now that I’m aware of this I promise myself to educate myself on finance, and embrace abundance mindset deep within.

There you go.. I’m being honest with myself. This one question helped me to see through what is it in me that I need to pay attention in order to get closer to my vision.
