The Olympics of Life

Last Saturday, I had a tennis match as a part of my tennis club’s internal tournament. I lost the match (again), and this is my third losses ~ meaning I have lost all the matches. My performance is at my all time low I guess.

I’m perfectly okay with that, but honestly I got a little sad too.. Though tennis is just a hobby, losing is still sucks 😂

As the summer Olympic season is over, I was thinking about the athletes. I’m in awe to see their incredible mental strength. They face countless failures and setbacks before reaching the podium. I believe that their mental preparation is just as crucial as their physical training.

There are no wins without losses.

Life is similar.

If we want to win in life, then we have to learn to deal with the loses and let it go. And if you look back in your life, I know that you have gone through a lot of challenges and setbacks.

Yet, you are still here, working on yourself and keep going ..

So today, let me celebrate YOU.  You are doing great, and you are amazing! 🥂❤️‍🔥

Remember, it’s okay to feel disappointed sometimes. Everyone experiences setbacks. Instead of beating yourself up, practice self-compassion. Treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding you’d give to a friend in a similar situation.

——

My wish for you is that you keep going and create the life you love. Know that you are meant to thrive.

And if you ever need my support, I’m here for you. ❤️

Have a win week!

With love,
Inuk
