We all want to be productive. I personally love being productive!
I believe productivity isn’t just about working efficiently; it’s also about feeling good about yourself and your accomplishments. You see, there’s no one-size-fits-all approach, finding the right strategy can significantly boost your productivity and well-being.
Sometimes it comes with experimenting different techniques, tools, and routines to discover what works best for you. The goal is to create a sustainable and enjoyable productivity system that aligns with your unique lifestyle and preferences.š¤
There are so many productivity tips and tools out there, many of them are really good honestly. But what to do about it? I tried many productivity tools and tips in the past, and if there is one rule that I learned is that..
There are no rules.Ā Everyone is unique, and so does our productivity.
Here are some guidance that I hope can help you with:
#1 What is your unique STYLE? š
My way of being productive can be very different with yours. I enjoy working more freely and less structured – that is why I canāt fill up my calendar with tons of tasks. It makes me feel overwhelmed. I still prefer the old style, a weekly check list of priorities in my notebook. However, I know many of my friends love being driven by the calendar.
#2 Ā WHEN is your best time? ā
My best time of work is morning, and sometimes in the evening. As Iām working myself, Iām privileged to have the freedom working in my own terms. However, if you have a strict schedule in the office, doesnāt meant you canāt work it out. You may want to adjust your most important tasks to your best time, and so on.
#3 What TOOLS work with you best? šØ
This my require some exploration. There are many productivity tools out there. I tried many, and kept only a few, one is pen and paper! Iām not really a digital note-taking type lol. And I also use Trello – it helps me a lot in tracking and managing my clients, and also my progress. So you may want to figure our whatās best for you and stick to it!

#4 WHERE do you feel most productive? š³
Though I have the privilege to work from home, I found myself having difficulties working from home! It is the place to relax and recharge so it feels almost impossible working from the comfort of my home. I prefer working in a cafe or somewhere else, where I can spend full on 2-3 hours super productive and get lots of things done.
Just recently, I went to a cafe in Ciawi – Bogor called āNgopi di Sawahā (*not sponsored) where I worked with the view of rice field and mountain in front of me. I spent 2 hours and completed tasks that normally would take me 5-6 hours!
What changes in your environment do you need to make you even more productive? It could be anywhere, home, cafe, office – or maybe you want to redesign your space. You get to choose!

#5 Who can help you? šš½
If you are still unsure about your way of productivity, you may want to watch Youtube video, read books or take online course specialized in that topic. For books, Feel Good Productivity by Ali Abdaal, or Deep Work by Cal Newport are some of the best. My dear friend Coach Kusuma has a productivity webinar to get you started, you might want to check it out!
In the end of the day, itās all about you. You get to decide your way of being productive. Make it fun.
So what is your style of productivity? How do you optimize all the information and tools you have to help you with?
Share with me if you feel called.
My wish for you is that you enjoy your productivity journey so that you can achieve life vision with ease. You are meant to thrive.
And if you ever need my support, Iām here for you. ā¤ļø

Have a productive day!
With love,
Inuk
