Few weeks ago, I finally launched Project Maven! It’s a carefully curated community for purpose-driven women leaders. And today, I want to share a little story behind it..
I’ve had this idea in my mind for a very long time – in fact Project Maven had been sit in my website for two years, labeled with “coming soon”!
A few weeks ago, my intuition told me that now was the perfect time to launch it. I just knew it was the right momentum. I returned to the project, working on all the details. Just when I thought I was ready to launch, my fears crept in… 😨
What if I’m not the right person to do this..
What if nobody would sign up for this program..
What if I couldn’t deliver the value that I had envisioned..
And so many “what ifs”..
After a while, I caught myself thinking, “Oh, that’s just my fear talking.” It’s not even bad; it just means I care so much about the project, and actually, it’s just how my survival brain wanted to protect me from getting hurt. 😌
I finally befriended my fears and launched the project. 🚀

This is just one story, and I believe it’s not just mine. It might be yours too…
So, let me ask you, how many times have we held ourselves back because of our fears? How many times have we felt, “I’m not good enough”—which is the most common fear?
Let me also tell you, it’s OKAY.
We are human, and we are built this way to survive. What matters is not letting the fears drive our lives. 😉
So, practically, what can you do when your fears arise?
Well, these easy steps might help you:
1) Acknowledge your fears. Give space for them to exist, bring it to your awareness. Make a list of them if possible. Soon, you’ll realize that they only exist in your mind..
2) Befriend your fears. Be compassionate to yourself; it’s okay to have fears. Think of them as a companion on your road trip, who points out potential dangers (even if they’re not real)
3) Make a decision. Ask yourself, “What would I do if I had no fears?” or “What if I could pause these fears for five minutes? What would I do?”
And as for Project Maven, it turned out to fill up very quickly beyond I imagined. Yayyy! 🎉 Only a few slots are left for this amazing purpose-driven women leaders community. Would you join me?
My wish for you that you take the driver’s seat and live your life courageously.
Remember, you are meant to thrive, not just survive.
And if you ever need my support, I’m here for you.
Have a fear-friending week! ❤️

With love,
Inuk
