Few weeks ago was another meaningful and inspiring moment for me. I had a meetup of Project Maven, a community of purpose-driven women leaders that I facilitate.
I’m always fascinated by them – their stories, their energy, and really, their presence. I came home feeling loved, supported, and truly inspired.
It’s the real power of community. We learn from each other, we grow together.
I’ve learned a few things from these amazing ladies that I want to share with you:
- Embrace the struggle. They don’t hide their weaknesses or failures. Instead, they learn and grow from them. It’s okay to be human, and vulnerability is a source of strength. ❤️🩹
- Lead from the heart. They lead from a place of nurturing, intuition, and openness. This is a different kind of leadership, one that is far more powerful and effective in the long run. ❤️
- Change internal first, then external. These leaders know that true power comes from within. They don’t feel powerless because they lead from an internal strength they’ve built themselves. They empower themselves first before empowering others. 💙

So, how can we apply these in practice?
We are all leaders in our own lives. These few tips might remind or inspire you :
- Practice vulnerability. Share your struggles and the lessons you’ve learned. It’s an act of courage that builds trust.
- Connect with others. Listen to understand. Listen fully without judgment or preparing your response. And genuinely caring for other people’s well-being.
- Trust your intuition. If a decision feels wrong, take a step back. Trust that inner voice, even if it feels weird.
- Invest in yourself. Dedicate time to your own personal growth and development through reading, journaling, meditation, or working with a coach.
- Define your boundaries. Learn to say “No” to things that drain your energy or don’t align with your values.
- Practice self-compassion. Speak to yourself with the same kindness and encouragement you would offer a loved one.
Leadership is a journey, and the most important person to lead is yourself.
I’m wondering, which of these tips inspires you to embrace in your leadership journey?
My wish for you is that you lead your life with confidence and clarity, knowing that you are here for something bigger.
You are meant to thrive.
And if you ever need my support, I’m here for you.
With love and gratitude,
Inuk
