Years ago, in a previous company, I had a great position and managed a big team. On paper, I was doing well. I was really enjoying my role and my job.
But the truth is.. I was a people-pleaser. I wanted so badly to keep everyone happy, and in doing so, I hurt the people that I love. My ego drove me.. I made mistakes that seem unforgivable. 🥺
Overnight, I became a public enemy in my own team (and maybe externally too).
Things fell apart, I lost my pride, and I admit,
I wasn’t the good person I thought I was..
That’s the hardest truth I had to swallow.
I took full accountability for my mistakes. But the damage was too heavy for me. I was bleeding internally, and I fell into depression for months. It was a really hard period in my life.
I didn’t know what self-awareness was, let alone emotional intelligence or real leadership. I thought leadership was just about managing work, handling people, and being a high performer.
Yet looking back, that experience alone changed my life for the better. I can feel so much gratitude now..
I came into personal development because of it. I learned and changed… to fix myself, to become a better person, and to move away from resistance.
That exact moment brought me right here to becoming the coach you know today.
I learned the hard way that leading a team is hard, but leading myself was even harder.
Leadership can be so lonely, and being in a big transition can feel just as isolating.
Back then, I wish I had proper support. I wish I knew better and had the self-awareness I have now.

That’s why today, when I walk alongside leaders in my executive coaching program, my focus isn’t about teaching rigid tactics or being “perfect.”
It’s about giving you the safe space and self-awareness I so deeply needed back then, so you can lead from a place of true alignment without having to carry it all alone.
If you are navigating a heavy season of leadership right now, or at a crossroads in your life, please give yourself grace. I promise you, things will always work out in the end.
You are meant to thrive.
And if you ever need my support, I’m here for you.
I’ve got your back. ❤️
With love and gratitude,
Inuk
