I hope this article finds you well.
As I have been sharing with you over the past few months, I’ve been supporting my sick father, Bapak, through a difficult time.
I am writing to let you know that he passed away last week..
It’s been a time of deep sadness, but also deep peace, as we were able to honor his wishes and surround him with love.

I’m giving myself the time and quiet space necessary to grieve. Today marks the first day I am slowly coming back to my work, which includes writing this article.
I found myself in a subtle wave of grief this morning as I sat down to write, and it made me recall this quote:
“Grief is like the ocean; it comes on waves ebbing and flowing. Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it is overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim.”
— Vicky Harrison
I’m leaning on my loved ones, my family and friends, to help me navigate these waters. I am okay, and I am allowing myself to be supported.
Just as I wrote in my previous article, strength isn’t just about pushing through; it’s about knowing when to pause, soften, and receive. This is the lifeline.
I am slowly picking up the pieces, moving forward one step at a time.. 🥹
If you are currently navigating a season of loss, challenge, or simply overwhelming change, please remember that it is okay to feel the full spectrum of your emotions. Give yourself the immense grace you deserve.
I’m sending all my love and gentle energy to you this week. ❤️
With love and gratitude,
Inuk
