It’s been a while since I last wrote. I was away for almost two weeks, and now I’m back.
To be honest, things haven’t been easy. Coming back from my trip, I was hit with a wave of overwhelm and some personal transitions I didn’t see coming. At the same time, I’ve had to face some hard “No’s” recently in my work that made me question my direction.
I’m doing my best to stay grounded and take things one step at a time. I’ve spent these past few days processing, and this morning I came to a realization that I wanted to share with you..
- I am grateful for what was.
- I accept what is.
- I am letting go of the “what ifs.”
The Dalai Lama often speaks about the relationship between pain and suffering. He explains that while they often exist together, they are not the same thing. There is actually a formula for it
Suffering = Pain x Resistance
Pain can be physical or mental; it happens to us because of external situations. It just is.
Suffering is the struggle that arises when we experience that pain.
Resistance is when we meet that pain with fear, anger, or self-pity. When we resist, we multiply our suffering. Non-resistance, on the other hand, means accepting the pain without the extra weight of fear or “why me?”
Does that make sense?
I’m working on this every day.
I’ve realized that resistance (or non-resistance) is a moment-to-moment decision. Some moments it’s easy; other times, it’s incredibly hard, especially when those “No’s” feel personal. And that’s okay.
For me, my life work remains my anchor. I remind myself to show up every day from a place of love and service as much as I can. That helps. I’m no longer fighting the pain—it exists, but the suffering is less.
I hope this helps you if you’re navigating your own rainy days.

So, how can I support you?
My wish for you is that you let yourself experience life fully no matter what.
You are meant to thrive.
I’ve got your back.❤️
With love and gratitude,
Tri
