Who Are You Becoming?

Since we are in the month of Ramadan, and as I’m navigating an interesting phase in my life, I’ve been spending a lot of time in reflection.

One of the ways I do self-reflection is by journaling. I’ve been journaling a lot lately, sometimes alone, and sometimes with a friend. I found it really fun to do it together!

Last week, I journaled with my best friend Katrina. Here are the prompts we did:

  1. Who am I becoming this year?
  2. What am I actually building?

Oh, it’s so juicy.

It took a while for me to write down all the things that I want to become, and the things that I’m building. Here is a peek at my answers:

Who am I becoming?

  • I’m becoming more safe and secure within myself.
  • I’m becoming more conscious and intentional.
  • I’m becoming more trusting of myself and my journey.
  • I’m becoming more patient.
  • I’m becoming more empowered (and empowering others).
  • I’m becoming clearer with my boundaries and upholding them.
  • … and more.

And, what am I actually building?

  • I’m building an amazing support system through Project Maven and my inner circle.
  • I’m building my business by continuing to show up every day from the place of love and service (through connecting, coaching, workshops, and teaching).
  • I’m building my emotional intelligence by listening to my feelings and emotions, trusting the wisdom of my body and nervous system.
  • I’m building a solid ground for myself by living in gratitude and continuing my gratitude journaling habit.
  • I’m building a strong foundation for myself by continuously learning and growing, while walking in my healing path.
  • …. and more.

It was really good.

I feel so much clarity about myself and what I want. And not just that, I understand how I’m actually building towards who I am becoming.

If you feel called, you might want to reflect on these questions yourself. Or maybe you can ask a friend to play together 🙂

My wish for you is that you find more clarity about who you are now and who you are becoming, and that you keep walking towards that beautiful future you.

You are meant to thrive.

And if you ever need my support, I’m here for you.

I’ve got your back.❤️

With love and gratitude,
Inuk
